Ritual + Sacred Space

Ceremony is external. Ritual is internal.
Ceremony is performed. Ritual is felt.
Ceremony is public. Ritual is personal.

Ritual can transform the overwhelm of our human experience

Ceremony is external. Ritual is internal.
Ceremony is performed. Ritual is felt.
Ceremony is public. Ritual is personal.

Ritual is serious + fun. Messy + neat. Requiring of precision, forgiving of mistakes + completely what you make of it. When we invite ritual into our lives it grows us wildly.

Ritual returns us to ourselves. We can practice ritual to deeply experience our love + connection to one another, alchemize our thirst for potential + our uncertainly about the future, find forgiveness toward our past pain or offer respect to passed ancestors + pets.

In ritual we remember our humanity, our beauty + most importantly, our power. Ritual is the resounding punctuation to the events that shape our lives.

Powerful ritual unfolds in the container of sacred space. I've put together a free ingredient list of the elements of sacred space so you can get to work claiming the power of ritual for yourself. Magic time!

ritual returns a missing ingredient to modern life

You may be a lot like me—I grew up in the U.S. with ancestral roots as shallow as a Redwood tree. Wait—you might be wondering—the tallest trees on earth have shallow roots? Yes, indeed. My mind was blown when I learned old growth 350-feet-tall Sequoia sempervirens have roots that often only grow into Earth 5 or 6 feet deep. Wild. But what those roots lack in depth, they make up for in a vast web of connection that stretches out in the topsoil sometimes up to 100 feet from the trunk.

Before inviting ritual into my life, I liken my felt experience to the roots of these trees—I was rising strong  with a growing shallow root system of my immediate loved ones, teachers + community, but I wasn't connected to any deeper ancient practice of communing with my highest self in sacred space. I passed through many significant thresholds in my life with no inkling of how to honor my highest self or ground my energy in overwhelming times.

Then the whisper of life force showed me that ritual can be the tap root of human experience. The potential of growth that ritual offers grows ever deeper as we claim its power. An intentional practice of ritual can provide a deeply needed anchor in the passing moments of our lives where we experience ongoing transition.

I work 1-on-1 with people interested in bringing a deeper element of ritual practice to their daily lives. I also curate custom rituals uniquely suited to honoring a particular life happening. Transformative spaces of ritual can bless new living spaces, bring prosperity to new ventures, deepen or repair the bond between romantic partners, honor long standing friendship, mourn the loss of loved ones & pets, transmute pain & trauma, reconnect one with the highest self, heal, celebrate birthdays or other important milestones + welcome the awe-striking potential of tiny humans into this world.

Let's connect if there's an important occurrence in your life you'd like to mark with a ritual, or if you're hungry to deeply connect with your highest self by nurturing a daily ritual practice.
